Refund & Returns Policy

At Fortuna Mini Dachshunds, we take great pride in raising healthy, well-socialized Mini Dachshund puppies. Because our puppies are living animals, refunds and returns are handled with special care and responsibility.

1. No International Delivery

We only sell and deliver within Australia. We do not ship or deliver puppies outside of Australia.

2. Reservation Fees

• A non-refundable reservation/deposit fee is required to hold a puppy.

• This fee ensures that the puppy is reserved for you and will not be offered to another family.

3. Refunds

Refunds may only be considered under the following circumstances:

• If a puppy reserved becomes unavailable due to unforeseen health issues while still in our care.

• If we are unable to provide the puppy as agreed, a full refund of the deposit/purchase price will be given.

Refunds will not be provided if:

• You change your mind.

• You are unable to take the puppy due to personal circumstances (e.g., moving, financial reasons, landlord issues, allergies, etc.).

4. Returns

Because puppies are living beings, returns are generally not accepted. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you are unable to keep your puppy, we require that you contact us immediately.

• We will work with you to rehome the puppy responsibly.

• No refund will be issued in such cases.

5. Health Guarantee

• All puppies leave our care with up-to-date vaccinations, health checks, and worming treatments.

• A veterinary health record is provided at the time of adoption.

• If a licensed veterinarian determines within 72 hours of adoption that your puppy has a serious health condition (not caused by accident, neglect, or mishandling), we will discuss replacement or refund options. Documentation from the vet will be required.
